Question about the TP-Link TL-WR710N

    Just looking for a wireless bridge thingy and found this that'll do the job: http://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-Link-TL-WR710N-Wireless-Extender-Set-top/dp/B006PYGWG6/ and has a handy USB for charging mobile devices. But I'm just wondering, with this, can I wirelessly connect this to my current router via wifi for the connection, and then it'll create a new network through itself or does it require an incoming ethernet connection on my router (that is connected to the phone line) for internet?

    Basically, do I need to plug an ethernet into this to give it internet or does it just connect to my wifi and then relays that signal through wifi and ethernet?

    Compatible with most 2.4GHz Wi-Fi devices
    You can set it to repeat, then itll just take wifi in and send it back out. Note, this slows your wifi for the entire house down though as its "double sending" everything. Generally avoid repeating if you can.

    Powerline adapters would be better if you cant run an ethernet cable.
