Google Chrome

    This might sound a stupid Question. Whenever I log onto a site on google Chrome for instance Done deal a list of all the sites beginning with D appear on top left of screen. How can I delete them or prevent them from coming up.

    Just don't type "x" or "p" into the address bar.

    Or I wonder do they mean previously searched items or pages visited

    I think we've all gotten stung on the whole previously searched list appearing at inopportune moments at some stage.
    History for a web browser should fall into the opt in rather than opt out rules.
