Online VDSL checker not working

Up to a few days ago, the online checker on VF and eircom websites showed my phone number all ok to sign up to fibre. Now they give a "you don't have a landline". I rang VF to place my order and the guy on the phone asked to ring back Monday because Eircom are updating the gateway with my number and he can't check my line…

However this has been the case for a few days for me.
So is this a standard issue or something I am looking into considerable hassle??

i have the same problem but i do have a landline but i cant get vdsl 2 miles away from the cabinate

I currently have adsl and vdsl cabinet is in view. Few weeks back it said I could get vdsl
