In the past, for some reason, I remember telling myself to bet on a red card if Jose or Chelsea were playing an away semi final Champion League leg.

There is some sense to it...

    Why not?

On the Costa train aswell tonight, 7/2 is a great price for the wincast, especially after seeing those teams. Going with him FGS at 9/2 aswell with Coral.

    1st half time - Correct score : 0-0 odds @ 2.37

    - 3 out of 6 Champions league games of Alt Madrid ended up 0-0 after the first 45 minutes.
    - Atl Madrid has the best defense of Liga at home: They conceded 9 goals in 18 games.
    - Chelsea has the best defense away. They conceded 15 goals in 17 games.

And I think both teams won't take much risk at the beginning of the game.

I hope some of you followed ;) my first BOOM here I guess

Simeone blew any chance tonight of Athletico to get a result. First time Ive seen him get his tactics wrong.
All those crosses and high ball were pointless against Cahill and Terry.
Why Villa was left off till the 85th min is amazing.

Di Maria First goal assist 8/1 and any time assist 11/4, Boyle.

He has been in unbelievable form recently, 19 assists this season. Joint highest in CL alongside Benzema and Rooney with 5.

Interesting bit from the central coast manager about the game at 11.30 this morning away to Sanfrecce Hiroshima. Could be a good corner bet in this. Line is at 10.

Waiting till in play to see what Sanfrecce are about corner wise too. Must win game for both teams. Winner qualifies.

“Hiroshima is a threat when they have the ball and we need to remain focused. When we win the ball, we want to play wide. We have studied Hiroshima a lot and watched J.League matches as well as ACL matche

Tonights match should be much more enjoyable than last nights bore-fest. A lot rests on Ronaldo's fitness. I fancy Madrid to win and BTTS around the 3-1 mark.

Anyone got any news for Toulose v Lyon?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 735 ✭✭✭Hamadeusentman

I'm going for a safe enough option tonight. Priced at 5/6 with Bet365 it's over 2.5 goals and both teams to score.

Toulouse have a good record against Lyon (unbeaten in their last 7 home games against them) and they can play without pressure now since they're safe from relegation.
Lyon could go level on points with 4th placed St Etienne with a win, their manager's future depends on whether Lyon play in Europe next season.

Won't touch this game personally due to Toulouse being very inconsistent.

Need Madrid to win the CL Outright.
The day before Liverpool beat city I stuck a bet on Liverpool to win PL, A.Madrid win liga and R.Madrid CL.
    €4.30 returns €100.08

I can't agree more with Lasagna there. Toulouse is indeed a very inconsistent team. However there are few facts which are interesting:

    - Games at Toulouse stadium see quite a lot of goals: out of the last 5 games, 4 ended up with +2.5 goals.
    - Lyon tend to perform well away and usually score 1/2 goals.
    - Toulouse won't be relegated and have nothing to win or lose out of this game. No pressure. They may go all-in.
    - Lyon needs the win to keep a chance to finish 4th.
    - 4 out the last 5 heads ups between Toulouse and Lyon ended up with over 2.5 goals.

BTTS is at 1.66; Over 2.5 is at 1.85 on Bet365. I'll go for over 2.5.

    - Lyon missing most of their full back line eg. G. Fofana, C. Grenier and Y. Gourcuff
    - Toulouse is missing their main goalkeeper - A Ahamada

Over 3.5 Goals Psg v Evian Thonon Gaillard
Over 4.5 Goals Toulouse v Lyon
    €10

All three are midfielders, which if anything will hamper their attacking play.

Ahamada has been the 2nd choice keeper since Boucher was signed, they both suck if you ask me.

    Gourcuff is always injured :pac:

    My bets for tonight:

    1. Diego Costa FGS 7 Atletico 2-0 - 25/1
    2. Diego Costa AGS - 7/5
    3. Diego Costa to score and Atletico to win - 7/2.

    Then €1 on Villa FGS & Atletico 2-0 - 35/1

So............. all aboard the Costa chariot :pac:

Money-back on a couple of those... but that Costa guy, eh? :pac:
