U.S. redeem codes on EU PS4 - options?

    I bought a copy of inFAMOUS Second Son (disc based, limited edition) while in the states. The game works fine on my EU PS4 with EU PSN account, as expected.

    The limited edition comes with an online redeem code for Cole's Legacy DLC - and these codes are region specific - so it's not possible to redeem a U.S. code on an EU PSN account.

    That said, I do have a U.S. PSN account (handy for accessing some demos early, etc - but not my main account), so if I redeem the code in this account, on the same PS4, will the DLC be playable in the EU account - has anyone tried this?
