Help needed with USB cable purchase

Hi All,

I am looking for a USB cable to go from my old hard drive to my laptop so that I can transfer files.

Preferably I'd like to buy online (ie Amazon).

I've been to several electrical/computer shops but they only recommend to buy cases to place the hard drive in which is a more expensive option. They don't have the correct USB leads in stock.

Any help is appreciated.

Those cases are like 2 or 3 euro delivered on eBay.

OR

you could connect it directly to a power and sata cable in your PC and your PC will pick it up as a drive.

SATA to USB cables are easy to find retail but about as costly as the cases. check online
