Dog trainer for puppy in Sligo

Hi,
Wondering if someone could recommend a good dog trainer near Sligo, preferably one that works with the owner and other dogs so the pup can become socialised. Had a look at some previous threads but they are a few years old

The lady in Cherrytree kennels in Grange does them sometimes. She's also involved in Sligo Animal Rescue.

You could try Markree Dog Agility Club. Its about 3 miles from Riverstown. Tina gives basic training classes and she is very skilled

Cherry tree are great. Did a course there myself as I was terrified of dogs! The owner is fantastic and I know from others she is fantastic with the dog training also. It's so important to 'train' the dog owners as well as the dogs.

OP, have you tried yourself? If you are the dogs owner, I always think it's better to be the trainer. It establishes and reinforces you as the master/alpha. A bit of time, patience and persistence always pays off imo. No shouting, no punishment, just lots of affection when they get it right.
