Is Sturridge a bit burnt out. He looks a bit drained.

Good to have both City's CM on yellows. Especially Garcia who isin't very mobile

And here we were thinking Mike and Rarnes were the kinky ones.

City certainly not out of it. You fancy they will score eventually. Too much attacking talent not to. However Liverpool will fancy nicking one of the counter as well.

Sturridge has been off key again this match unfortunately. Sterling more than making up for it though. We have been phenomenal on the break!

Great clearance on the line from him and Johnson! Threading a bit dangerously for the past 5/10 mins there. Feared a bit of a defensive clanger but we got away with it.

Very happy to be going in at half time without conceding after that pressure. Sterling, Coutinho, Suarez & Gerrard have been unreal

Fancy Sturridge to get his feet together at half time and score the next one.
We'll need another. City still look a threat going forward.

After the 2nd goal went in they went a bit wild, over eager and they lacked composure at times.

It was in our hands to make it 3 or 4 but instead we're very lucky City weren't able to draw level with a few sloppy passes in our third, a good save and 2 goal-line clearances.

I'd back Liverpool to score again at any rate but even then, I'm not sure it'll be enough. It depends how much time Aguero gets and how fit he is.

The Pool are champions elect the way things stand. Dont think id begrudge them it either. I dont like the idea of clubs being funded by billionaires but other then that city are not such a bad club to be honest. I like Pellegrini i think he's a good football man.

Game is finely balanced at the moment, not over by a long stretch.

That Sterling goal gets better every time.

Sturridge has been very disappointing. Looks very tired.

Good first half. Need to keep the pressure up, players tiring towards the end of the half.

Thank god for half time. City had us on the ropes there.

Everyone playing well for Liverpool, Sahko was great up until his brain fart (which was a penalty).

Big second half ahead. Need another few goals.

They should have put Carragher behind the table...

If Lucas comes on it's probably for Sturridge at this stage. Can't take off Sterling or Coutinho.

It's quite amazing how cutthroat Liverpool are this season. They never look like they won't score and when they do get there chances they take them.

Jesus the ref had a great view of that, definite penalty from his view terrible decision

Coutinho seldom plays for the 90. I'd expect Allen to replace him first and then Lucas to replace Sturridge a bit after (depending on the scoreline) to shore things up.

We need to come out all guns blazing at the start of the second half and finish the game there and then.

Poor decision alright. Was a strange tackle though. In that he completely missed the ball, somehow slid between Dzeko's legs without making contact and then headbutted Dzeko's knee. The nature in while and how late Dzeko went down probably did determine things though. As I said though, poor decision.

Been a bit rash with he yellow cards too I though.

Another goal and we'll have them on goal difference.

Looked a penalty all day to me too. WTF was Sakho thinking. City were building the pressure at the end of that 1st half. I expect an epic struggle in the 2nd. Hopefully we can nick a 3rd on the counter.

Terrible dive by Dzeko probably swayed the ref against giving the peno. If Dzeko went over from the foul rather than diving after it, I imagine the ref would have given it

City definitely gonna win this 3-2.
