Where to get old computers?

I'd thought of putting this in the Computers forum but figured the A&R people would be more in the know.

My father (sadly not me for once) is interested in acquiring an old retro computer, most likely a ZX Spectrum or a Commodore 64. We've sourced a few on adverts, amazon and the like but I was hoping someone would know a brick and morter store that might specialize in these machines, just so we know it's been tested (and have a ready supply of parts/accessories).

    Thanks a lot. :)

I'm pretty sure my old Amstrad CPC464 is still left in the attic in my Mam's house.
