    Well how about that Grey, we are kindered spirits after all... I drive a blue 02, and I spent about 20 hours try to get the back door locks to open before the last NCT... That qualifies me as a member of the VW club.. :cool:

    I was an owner of a 1989 mark 2 gti the general rule was you would fix something and then something else completely unrelated would break fantastic car though

    I used to meet Colm in the chipper at times...

    It was so sad to see him deteriorate....

    I remember people saying Colm was on the beer at Cheltenham but he wasn't...
