Cow and calf happy and healthy after giving us a fright. I couldn't give a hoot if I'd been in my bikini when he arrived!

He wouldn't miss another calving if he got the bikini treatment

I remember my Uncle driving through up O'Connel Street in Dublin in a big diesel Volvo whose damaged exhaust was louder than a jet aircraft. Thankfully the car was so big I could hide in the back from such a mortifying experience.

Happened to me in town. Horn would not stop- going roundabouts got some very strange looks! Didn't help that the kids were in hysterics in the back!

Just spotted the bull pissing blood now. Curse of fcuk down on top of him, only had him straightened out after a bad bout with coccidiosis. :(

Yip, doesn't need to work until the end of May though. Hopefully he'll be alright now, having a bad run the last fortnight. Meeting the vet in a half hour to get shots for him.

Sounds like it'll have to join the que.

What would cause him to do that?

Antibiotics don't affect a ram, it's the increase in his temperature caused by an infection that can render him temporarily infertile AFAIK.
