Help with the Irish silver hallmarks

    Hi all,

    I have here one sport silver medallion that is hallmarked. Any idea of the maker and when it was produced?

    Cannot identify the maker but date wise I think you are looking at around 1920 or so.

    Possible maker could be 'Jewellery & Metal Manufacturing Co Ltd'
    They carried the mark J&M CO - see it a lot on the medals and small items of this nature.
    Marks too worn to be sure.

    As a general rule the makers mark is only of real significance when found on pre Victorian items.
