Hi there. Have recently switched to the UPC Horizon box and am finding the signal strength range pretty poor. Its working fine for the most part in the room where the box is but when I go into another room mainly upstairs the signal and speed is quite poor. I wouldn't be the most knowledgeable in broadband speed but have tested it and the download speed ranges between 9mbps - 22mbps with upload around 6-7 mbps. Would this be normal?

    Thanks for your help.

Got the box today and I'm having the exact same problem. In the room that the box is in it's reasonably reliable with download speeds of around 30mb. However when in another room it fails to get a signal. Even in the room directly above the box the signal is very poor.

As long as the speeds are closer to 22Mbps then that is roughly what i get. I have my own router RT-N16 bridged to the UPC Cisco 3925.

My bedroom is roughly 40 feet away through a thick wall, and i get between 20Mbps and 35Mbps down with close on 9Mbps up with my Tablet and Smartphone. I am on the 120Mb/10Mb Package.

My Laptop in the same room gets better speeds than the above devices though.
