I was a cider head until recently. Have since moved to Heineken as its the only beer I can stand but I'm told by others that it's muck!

    It's a toss up between:

    Thornbridge Jaipur
    Rogue Hazelnut Brown
    Fyne Ales Jarl
    Nogne O Porter
    Hitachino Nest Amber Ale

Generally depends if I'm in the mood for something hoppy or something malty. Also like Fuller's London Porter ;)

I quite like Budweiser and Coors Light. I normally mix them with iced water.

I got hammered one night many many years ago drinking a pint of that through a straw. I robbed it of a random German guy :pac:

Usally drink Guinness, although occasionally drink Tiger, Peroni, or Krononberg 1664. Although one of the nicest I had was a local ale somewhere in the SW of England, both the name and place escape me now, and a fruity 6 odd % beer brewed by trappest monks.

I've been meaning to try that, do any pubs have it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,923 ✭✭✭pappyodaniel

Of Foam and Fury from Galway Bay Brewery, best IPA I've ever had.

yeah the brew dock across from connolly station have it on draft - so does the black sheep on caple street. From the off-license the Pale Ale variety and the torpedo (coming in at 8%) are pretty good too.
