    €30pm = €360pa
That's far more than your property tax

How will people without Sky survive without seeing a round 3 qualifier in the football between Cavan and Limerick on a Saturday evening during the summer when there is absolutely nothing else to do. No club games, no work on the farm, no work in hotels or restaurants to go to.

Yip, it's just like the Eurovision Contest.

The first time ever the GAA has been compared to the Eurovision surely?

This argument that "it's been free for years and people have been spoiled" really irks me... People pay their license fee to RTE who use some of that money to pay for the sports coverage AND the taxpayers pays for RTE's inevitable yearly losses (12million euro last time I think)

Just adopt a new watching sport..
like beach volleyball or coxless rowing

Complete over reaction, and if everyone is so concerned about the old 97 year old not being able to see a game live well then help him out yourself

The GAA should have included a clause in the deal to allow all GAA clubhouses to freely air the matches...
