If anyone is looking for a good head torch, I've just ordered my second one of these:

    http://illuminationsupply.com/headlamps-c-29/nitecore-hc50-xml2-565-lumens-1-x-18650-2-x-cr123a-p-837.html#.UznQg_nSErI

The ould lad has been flat out like a lizards belly in a tractor rut praising it since he first seen it so I gave it to him tonight lol.

5 power settings, tbh the second lowest is grand for doing any work indoors. Came in very handy for me a few nights when I had rifle with me and had to catch/carry/move a ewe and lamb as well.

    Couldn't praise it enough tbh.

It looks a serious piece of kit.

What sort of money would it cost to have it in your hand?

How would ya think it would compare to one of these?

One of the top end ones I'd be thinking.

€55 AFAIR, genuinely I don't need anything better for indoor work or outdoors checking the pre lambers on the rough ground.

I don't know anything about the models you posted.

A H14 led lenser (old model) is on my wish list. We use a m14 for lamping and find it a great job. Had a H5 and want something more powerful.

Try the X21R if it's power you're after. :-) It's overkill really, I've used one and they're a bit over the top. I have an M7R and would highly recommend it.
