    Hi Tracyon2004,

Yes I had an interview 2 years ago for our local credit union for a teller position, I don't have much experience of interviews but it was very formal. There were 2 external interviewees who conducted the interview while the credit union manager and a member of the board observed it. A lot of it was role play questions, like what would you do with a difficult customer etc, then of course all the questions you would expect at an interview. They asked about my knowledge of the products the credit union offered which was ok but also about the national structure of the credit union and about how it was governed and the role of the central bank etc. They also asked me to name members of the local board of management.

Do as much research as you can. I had done abit but not enough. Made it onto the panel but never got the job, as it happened didn't matter as got another job a few weeks later.

    Best of luck
