I though Warne was involved in the coaching setup now, specially for T20?

Was expecting White to play a bigger part in the World Cup than what he has. :P

I don't know how you can't like Maxwell batting, basically Afridi on steroids.

Get him in the test team in a few years please.

Such an ugly innings from Warner, after gunning it so hard for months, concerning with the next test series in the UAE with Pakistan's army of spinners.

It's going to be Maxwell v India here tonite

What a buy for Kings XI in the IPL this year.....still can't quite understand why the Mumbai Indians didn't keep him:(

They can't be ****ed today can they Australia? Love Bailey to bits but he really has hurt his reputation with this competition.

    83/9

    Abysmal.

They signed Corey Anderson and have Pollard.

Punjab have a few oversea players.

Bailey, S Marsh, Miller, Maxwell, Bailey and Perera.

Going to be tough picking 4 of those.

It's going to be India v South Africa semifinal......that's the final for me as well.....the winner of that match will win the World Cup :)

Bangladesh and Australia will now face off on Tuesday to officially decide which is the worst T20 team in the world right now

That was pathetic from Australia......they need to go back to the drawing board and rethink their whole T20 strategy......they might start first by dropping everyone except Maxwell:o

The reassuring thing for Australia, the ODI world cup is in Australia and their army of seamers will be a serious problem for batsmen especially the sub continent lads, and of course the spinners should not be as effective so their hitters will be able to go hard.

They are still favourites for me in that at the moment.

After today, and how little effort both put in, would not be shocked to see Bangladesh and Australia not bother showing up to their match. :pac:

I can't help but be a bit skeptical about this team representing the Netherlands. A quick scan down todays team reveals 4 Australian born players, 2 South Africans, 2 New Zealanders, 1 Pakistani and just two Dutch born bowlers.

I know Ireland has had overseas born players who've played key roles in our team over recent years but I'll stand to be corrected if I say that the majority of any Irish cricket team are Irish born and a product, initially anyway, of the domestic game.

Is this a Dutch team representative of their domestic game or a group of international mercenaries??

Oh yeah, all very true. I was reading the other day that one of the Aussies, Nannes can't even speak Dutch. :pac:

Dutch score 133 - don't think that's going to be good enough. Kinda fizzled out after a lively start.. Not so hot against decent bowling.

Hmm.. England 32/4 after 8 overs and a bit. Could turn out an interesting result?

Another wicket! England giving them away.

The culmination of an awful winter for England.

Such a shame that Ireland didn't take the chance to be playing today.

Well played the Dutch.....They ran SA and NZ close....they should have won against SA in all honesty

England have been left way behind in the ODI and T20 formats....They'll be glad its two sub-continental teams with dismal overseas records touring England this summer.....will give them a chance to rebuild both their test and one day sides

    Dat was mooi. :D

Fair play to Holland; I didnt think that 133 would be anything like enough but they bowled and fielded very well. Aided in no small part but some awful England batting it has to be said! Glad that they were able to give a good account of themselves after a disastrous start against SL.

Dilshan is far too conservative for a T20 opening batsman. His strike rate is consistently really poor in recent years.

The Dutch team used to have a much higher amount of Dutch born players, but a lot of them seemed to have retired/pushed out in the last few years. Borren and Bukhari have been with the NL for years now so I wouldnt mind them so much, but the trend isn't good.

However two of the best Dutch players aren't playing international anymore, Kervezee and ten Doeschate.

Sri Lanka 85/6.....they look a jaded lot....particularly Dilshan and Sangakara who's had an awful World Cup....SL are going to struggle after the impending retirements of Sangakara and Jayawardene....think Dilshan is finished as a player as well....Ireland should fancy their chances this summer

Good chance for NZ to finish SL off today

NZ 18/2 now, and effectively 18/3 as Anderson will not bat according to cricinfo

Group A batters really not covering themselves in glory today. This is a horrible chase so far.
