Found this in my Mum's attic from a long time ago, I admit this could go in either category. As far as I can remember it was an irish team issue bike from the Olympics around 92

Nope but it's definitely off-topic for this thread - I've a "recovey log" running in "training logs" where I'm "happY" to discuss my state/recovery etc

Just saying - but being laid-up has certain "advantages" and by the time I'm back on the bike I hope/expect to have at least 2 new entries in this thread ....:D

Alas based on "progress" to date can only see that getting me into the images of ugly thread. Sometimes though when I'm feeling sorry enough for myself the only natural antidote is a new bike (or two) and the new training and storage facility should be able to cope ...

Ha, I was wondering who would spot it. I am sad to say that my house mate owns the human size bike. It arrived last night from the states, I am seriously jealous. I might treat myself when I finish my masters.

Twenty three years later and I've still back twinges from rugby injury, however thirty years after a bike crash and my teeth are just fine.

I have only gotten into biking due to rugby retirement. Right Achilles op x 2 and left x 1 (last November). I find though that the body par that aches the most is my dodgy shoulder, just holding my upper body up on the handle bars.

I already look like it, two massive scars on the back of my legs from the Achilles op's, one on the right shin from a plate. To be honest I should have quit after the first Achilles rupture at 27.

However I have found my love of cycling again. I used to cycle from hollingsworth cycle shop (not sure it exists anymore) to the hell fire club each weekend as a kid. No I am back having the same thrill half way around the world.

I think my 100kg plus frame would do a bit more damage in a velodrome rather than wheezing up hill.

Dont think the bars will be cut at the cables go through them.

cables are easily shortened. unless your mate has arms like a gorilla the reach on those bars seems very long. could just be the picture though
