Spellcheck on word 2007..only partly working .

Spellcheck when clicked will only check first page and references of a 30 page document.Not picking up any typos....

I have checked options for spellcheck but everything seems to be correct.

Frustrated ! Any ideas where i am going wrong?

Been a while since I used Word 2007, but if I remember correctly you have to make sure British English or American English are sellected as the language used in the settings.

Check the styles that are in use, spellcheck can be switched off at the style level.

Spellcheck is switched on; it highights spelling and grammar problems
in first page and last page.

However for some reason the rest is unchecked.

British English is used.

Two pieces of random text that appear identical, one is spellchecked but the other one won't as the style applied ('Normal' modified) bypasses the check.
