Horizon/macbook wifi dropping

Just bought a new macbook and the wifi drops continuously. This happened previously with a mac then stopped being an issue after I connected it via an ethernet cable. No issues with a PC and 2 iPads. Is it possible to hook my old wireless modem to the horizon box?

It might be due to the Horizon wifi. Try changing the wifi channel in the Horizon settings.

I had a similar situation where my MacBook wasn't connecting but 1laptop, 2 iPhones & 2 iPads were connecting fine.

    I had a similar issue.
I found a solution online that worked for me anyway.
In Network preferences, in the Network Locations dropdown at the top of the screen, you will see "Automatic" there already. Click it and then select Edit Locations. Add a new location, call it whatever you like, and then connect to your Horizon wifi in there in the usual way.
Since I did that it has worked perfectly.
