I know at the vets this morning I'll get the usual comments of 'ohh, he's big cat isn't he' from other people in the waiting room. It always feels like a criticism.

Don't mind them Pumpkinseeds, we had a similar problem to yours with one of our cats years ago. He was very tall for a cat too, big soft purring cuddly ball of mischief :)

Im in college(26 year old mature student) one of the biggest irritations for me is when the class whinge about having 4 classes in a row with no break!!
Try a 9 hour working day with 1 hour of a break!!!!

Likewise! 40 hour working week, 15 hours of class, 18 hours of study on top of all the usual grownup stuff like cleaning, cooking, laundry, looking after another living being that's not me and trying to have some semblance of a personal and social life - come back full time study, I miss you!:mad:

Questions followed by multiple question marks.

The bank manager sent me a quote for car insurance and followed it up
with an email saying...'have you had a look at the quotation I sent??????'

You should go to his office and offer to give him a haircut and then service his car.

Missing words when writing. It used to be just letters and the odd time a word but it's becoming a norm now. My fingers never seem to catch up with my brain, dammit

Oh and I finally got my mug back! but I'm too proud to post in the 'Trivial things that make me happy' thread :o

Oh Dear, Such vitriol! I seem to have touched a nerve.

I have no intention in getting into any kind of exchange with some disgruntled, petulant, twenty-something, stranger with an obvious agenda, Not to mention an enormous chip.
I will leave you waxing loquacious, regurgitating and spewing your bile, in another direction.

True talent, like art and beauty, Needs no fanfare, Nor, need it be screamed from the rooftops.

    And for the record.
Unless you have contributed to, and have had published, Artwork, articles or papers, in a worldwide 'Health Science' magazine or journal, Then It is highly unlikely that I have ever come into contact with your work in a professional capacity.
Oh, and by the way, I don't have any older siblings.

    Adios for now thread.

Don't let it bug you, he sounds like a very bitter, troubled and insecure person to me. I previously had a vision of "Withnail" in my head, but that has now been replaced by the comic guy from The Simpsons.

:eek:How dare you, I'm a piscetarian but I consider myself mostly vegetarian. Bloody cheek of it, don't make me come over there and slap you with a wet fish:p I don't use the term piscetarian though, it sounds very pretentious.

He's lost 500 grams apparently, that's a first. Usually his weight is going up not coming down. He is a big ball of purring fur. He's got a big frame and strides rather than walks. He's got the thickest tail I've ever seen. He really is the Forest Gump of cats though, so it's just as well he's pretty:D

Vaccuming. I'm aching all over after hauling bags of bark chips and compost around the garden yesterday and the house really needs vaccuming. I keep trying to persuade myself that I should just put it off til later and not disturb the cats(they hate the vaccum) But it's no good, I'm going to have to haul my lazy butt up and do it.

I'm using the word 'vaccum' to stop people posting that they hate when people call all vaccums 'hoovers':P

Queues, queues in the bank earlier (you can only lodge money into Bank Of Ireland now on certain days if you're not a Bank Of Ireland customer. Today was not one of those days, and I am not a Bank Of Ireland customer :(), and now the queue in the barber! No doubt after this there will be another queue in Tesco.

    Queues.

That would be me. :P I would use the embarrassed smiley but I'm not embarrassed. I revel in my wrongdom. Hoover, hoover, hoover. :P Wrongdom isn't a word? I care NOT. :P

I used to spell 'a lot' as 'alot'. My mind was blown when I realised it was actually 'a lot'.

I find that if you dont give it a good shake, all you'll ever get is a little dribble..

    ( I should really go and hoover/vacuum)

Taxi Drivers / Barbers who like to chat. Had a horrible day yesterday, got a taxi home and just wanted to sit quietly and get home quickly. Head was too wrecked to talk but the Taxi man (who was nice in fairness) proceeded with pointless chatter. Did my head in and I really just wanted to chill out.

Was ready to blow a fuse in his direction but like I said he was nice and didnt deserve it so i kept my rising stress level to myself. I just wasnt in the mood.

(though im sure it works both ways when drunk beakerjoe is on his way home from town and yammering on at a poor unsuspecting Taxi man)
