EVEN NEWER Change a Letter Game

Since the previous thread had run to 10,000 posts, it's time to start fresh

1. You can change, add or remove one letter from the previous word to make a new word. You can't shuffle the letters of the word arround or remove a letter and add another in a different location.

2. Names and foreign words are out!

3. Repeating words are frowned upon, but sometimes unavoidable if the thread gets very long. The rule should be that no word should be repeated in 5 adjacent pages.
