Hi all. Just decided to cancel my imagine wimax. Am with them for last 4 year's but they recently raised my monthly bill to 44 euro for 10mb broadband so that finished it for me. Just wondered if anyone here had any experience of cancelling imagine. Don't want to get stung for some stupid charge just because I missed something. Thanks in advance

When they increase their charges you can cancel your contract within 30 days without any penalty. This applies even if you are still in contract.

I'm nearly certain that the 30 days has passed. Do you have any idea what charges are likely to occur? I believe I have to send all their equipment back to them at my own expense?

Some info towards the bottom of this page on this.

In short, if you are still within contract the charge will be €101.65, otherwise no charge.

Also regardless, they will debit your account for €152.48 when you cancel and return it once you return the modem.

Thanks Jackie. Well I know I'm definitely not in contract so I assume I just have to return the modem and everything should be okay??
