iphone 4s error 21

My sister had her battery replaced in a 4s yesterday and all going well until last night when it switched itself off. Turns it on and gets flashing apple logo and so tries to restore. She is now getting an error 21 message after plugging it into her pc. I'm thinking this must surely be a fault in the battery installation…

Error 21 is usually operating system hosts file, remove the apple entries from it and try again. Although I'd imagine it is a faulty battery, it does happen.
