Oregon chain

I saw a small box of oregon 3/8 chain, says 40cm long for 14.99 in Aldi. Has anybody bought any is it regular or narrow stuff?

I was thinking about it after, it's probably for the pruning chainsaws. They'd be about 40cm.

Without seeing it I'd say it is Oregon 3/8" Low profile chain for use on hobby electric and petrol saws. Without knowing the number of drive links you wouldn't know what it fits. It will probably fit the saws sold in LIDL/ALDI but other than that it is hard to know.

I currently have an aldi bar and chain on my husqvarna 460.

the saw died long ago but kept the bar and two chains. Has been the ideal sacrificial lamb for cutting the roots of a hooj leylandii that fell over in our garden a few weeks back.

Found this thread courtesy of google,I have one of the Lidl (Husqvarna stamp on the body) saws as a back-up saw.I need to replace the bar & chain.Bar is Oregon & stamped with id of 16 OSDEA318 DQ.Any recommendations for a reasonably priced replacement bar & chain?

Replaced the bar,the one on the saw was a 15" despite the specs saying it was 16".I had a 16" one on an electric saw I got for nothing,the thing is virtually brand new.
Tried it out earlier & it works out perfectly,had a nice big pile of wood cut in no time.
