He is painfully slow, I seen Garrigus' caddie complaining about it after they were put on the clock too. I just don't like the way he comes across either, maybe its just a combination of that and his slowness.

I really hated the way he told his caddie there was no rush when they were discussing his shot on the 18th fairway because the guy who had them on the clock had driven away, so they were no longer being timed.
    Class A wa-ker.

Liking this shot indication - shot 2 par 4.

    Simple
    Effective
    Was needed.

Yes it is obvious sometimes - but great to know every time now.

Only thing about live sport now - is the increasing delay in coverage - this helps production quality - but with the internet and other sources - you could end up having people getting scores from other sources too early. Sure that has even happened her at a recent event :)

Anyway - like the idea - haven't seen a bogey yet - so hope it is colour coded

I thought maybe Bubba withdrew because his caddy finally snapped that driver over his head :P

Would have loved a microphone to be on that conversation. Individual stroke penalties for slow play are very overdue.

Is Scott heading for a prolonged period of dominance? ie 2016 :-)

    No - putter.

I didn't quite get that.... so people in the crowd were giving him a hard time for being slow even though him and his group were not falling behind?

No - they didn't talk bout it being about slow play at all - I think.

    Hang on rewind.

    "harassed about last week"

    - then Nobilo went on about, he is in correct position.

    No - putter.

The long stick has changed his game completely- it's due to go in 2016 no?

Yep - Jan 2016. He could always keep the long stick but just not anchor it.

They just said he could go number 1 this week. I assume he'd need a win to do it

He won't get to No.1 this week if he wins, but he will be by the masters as neither he nor Woods are playing before then.

As much as I hate slow play and think both tours need to do something about it... this type of heckling is completely out of order and they should have been ejected from the grounds. Apparently it happened on the Thursday also.

Yep, you can't be having a free for all on a golf course.

Maybe it might push the tour to actually do something about slow play (extremely unlikely).

Na should have been f--ked off the course last week and this week IMO, and the next week he plays too ! Tell him to speed up and then come back !:)

Not really a matter of great importance, in fact more of a gossip rag paper question please forgive me, but is this Nick Dougherty as in the European Tour Player Nick Dougherty married to Di Stewart?
According to wikipedia he's only 31 but he looks miserable. Is it just me thinking that? Is he ok?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,526 ✭✭✭Slicemeister

Looks a tad on the unhealthy side alright, hope I'm wrong too.
Loved his analysis on the shot into that green. Pity that other fella Holmes had to dumb it down for us struggling folk....

Forgot this is sky we're watching

Its the hair cut - he's got some slickback look that doesnt suit him at all. He needs to cut it up and get that spiked look back!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,636 ✭✭✭✭Rikand

Molinari should have took the flagstick out :)

It is him. If he's only 31 I'd imagine he'd prefer to be out playing on the tour. World ranking now over 1000th so might see him commentating more!
