I assumed that campus would be closed on St Patrick's day, but I noticed that the Book of Kells will still be open, and the Lincoln Place gate opens on bank holidays (as per http://www.tcd.ie/Maps/access-times.php). It's a bit of a daft question but does this include St Patrick's Day? :o

Even if it is, I'm sure all the (academic) buildings are closed. I'm surprised, though: the place would likely be packed, and the entrance/exits are limited. The clean-up would be significant, as well.

    For future reference:

I asked the security guards at front arch. They said it's the same as any other bank holiday, with the front gate closing at 6pm, and swipe card access to buildings as usual. :)
I don't know if buildings without swipe access are open because I didn't ask, but I wouldn't think so.

Front gate will be closed during the parade, according to an email sent to residents, but you'll still be able to get through Nassau.
