    Just to give a bit of a review on these .
    Didn't find them any bit decent on anything smaller than a human after 30-40 yards
    Just my opinion

    It just needs extra illumination. Have Nightmaster 800 on it with IR filter- can see rabbits 200 yards away no bother and human 400.

    Jesus they've gone up in price I goy one a few years ago and it was 127 yoyo's at the time.

    They are what they are and for the price are OK.

    I had one used with a Lightforce 170 with IR filter. I could see out well passed 150y at trees. I never tried it on vermin for eye reflection.


    Remember that Lidl and Aldi do different models.

    I now have Gen 2+ night vision scope that's like looking at a flood lit field in star-light, see everything without IR.

    They aren't actually a bad device, what lets them down is (a) The mickey mouse ir illuminator and (b) The tiny screen in the eyepiece, the one on mine is only about 4mm x 3mm, and is very tiring on the eyes to use.

    If you buy or make up a ir lamp , and plug a mini mpr into the output it can transform it. see the one in the link below. Also join here

    The ccd is actually fine on these but the viewfinder is less than brilliant. You can easily add an lcd screen and illuminator and power supply with a little tinkering and make a useful spotter. The 5x lens tends to be a bit focus fussy. Using a compatible 3x or similar, salvaged from a yukon for example, will give a far better depth of field without having to focus as much for different ranges.
