    Fifa 13 - £15

Base.Com have a 2 for £25 that includes Deus Ex and Mass Effect. Worth bearing in mind though that they've gone for as little as £12 and £9.99 respectively so not necessarily the greatest of all possibile deals.

    Assassin's Creed III is £5.95 (€7.14) on TheGameCollection - Shipping £2 (€2.39).

Have they changed their shipping prices? I have my Parcel Motel Address in there as default, I must have thought it would work out cheaper. Have I been ripping myself off??

    Assassin's Creed IV - £17.90 on Amazon
    - Probably works out cheaper to use Parcel Motel.
Also available on Zavvi for €27.75

personally I'd be in no rush and 99% of the time will go with the cheapest option. Zavvi have been sending me my orders fairly sharpish as well recently. Only ones i find theyre slow on is pre orders which isn't ideal. I'll be buying Mario Kart in a shop for this reason but had wasn't in a rush for DK recently o preordered it online saving quite a bit.

little bit different in this case its only a couple of euro but still every penny counts and all that.

It's an excellent price, it's one of the best games on the Wii imo and is usually impossible to get.

As for whether it's a good game for a 12 year old, it depends on what games he likes. It's an RPG, but it's not turn based. It has an excellent battle system but it's not as simple as just hammering a button to hack at enemies, so I don't really know if that would be a turnoff or not.

I'd really recommend it though, especially at that price.

Amazing price. Was holding off posting it till I had a copy in my hands (thanks Sweetie for the tip off). This goes for over £100 on eBay!

This assumes it really includes the controller, but the game alone goes for 50ish

Not sure it would suit a 12 year old though, and with Argos UK flooding the pal market I doubt the eBay value will hold for long

@DAmo - Wait, I booked the copy in Liffey valley at 6am.... and they said they only had 1.

Unrelated question, what time you going in to pick up yours? :D

Edit : Wow, stock disappearing fast - it was all green this morning, now it's mostly yellow...

Saw this on hotdeals last night and checked the irish argos site and it wasn't on there at all so I pmed Banjo as I knew he wanted it so much he might be able to organise shipping it from uk. Lo and behold when I get to work this morning I see thread check to find it's pretty much sold out everywhere around Dublin and then remember the sister is in college in Carlow and manage to bag the last one there. :D

Edit: Kirby's Epic yarn and Skyward sword are the same price.

So Banjo, are we street passing at Liffey Valley or what?
    ;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,485 ✭✭✭✭Banjo

Depends - can you hang on for.... I dunno.... about 4 hours? Also, could you make sure you've bought your game, put it on a chair beside you and then concentrate on the SP LED to the exclusion of all else? Ignore any bearded gentlemen who might run past you and do NOT look to see if Xenoblade is still on the chair.

BTW, has anyone picked one up yet? Is it real?

Edit : while you're in there, Solatorobo for DS is €6.99, Boom Street for Wii is €6.99, Rhythm Thief 3DS is €6.99

Says "Item Can Be Ordered" but then says out of stock. Reserved the last one in nearby argos, hopefully it doesn't vanish before I get there.
