Any pics of it? I've always loved the Capri, such a classic.

They're on my mobile atm, I'll put them on flickr tomorrow and then here.

Which or whether, if they reduced the rates and capped the highest rate at say 1200, they would get in a LOT more revenue from tax and petrol because more people would be able to afford it. The last time I said this, a few people said that they had cars sitting up and rotting away because they couldn't afford to run them and were unable to sell them.

It's amazing that in this day and age, they didn't see that people just can't afford these kind of things at the rates they are/were. Instead of reducing the cost, they increased it and I guarantee there's way fewer big engined cars on the road because of it.

Agreed - I actually think been honest with you - and I know its cynical - but the only logical reason I can think of - is that its done out of spite.

Theres really no other logical reason for it - it doesn't even make sense on environmental grounds because its probably better for the environment to drive a 20 year old Jag 5,000 miles a year - then to buy a new Kia diesel to do 65,000 miles a year.

Need the back seats and a boot. Go away for the weekend occasionally. A coupe is of no use to me.

Were they all Jap imports or were they an original Irish spec car?

322f were European, think the jap ones are called Lantis

Irish ones tend to be 1.5. They're not as nippy as you'd imagine but they're an almost timeless design.

Does anyone know what the story is with online insurance with regards to claim history? For example Aviva don't ask for it so if I filled in everything truthfully, leaving out a claim due to there being no option and bought the insurance online would there be a problem? I assume there would be.

Aye. Funnily enough the 1.2 base model Clio is as fast from 0-60 :pac:

Just thinking about them. They're a lovely design.
