Matsuyama buried is putter head in the green about 5ft from the hole with players still to finish- it was so bad referees had to fix it- I would have him fooked out of the tournament.

Whilst it was fairly unacceptable what Matsuyama did... Poulter did exaggerate when he said "he buried his club in the green"

I know what happened, and I said it was stupid, I just don't see why Poulter has to jump on twitter to rant about it. Poulter is no angel himself. Go confront him in person if you have to. I hate sports stars on twitter.

Edit; ^Thats it? Jesus, I actually thought by what I was reading that the putter head got stuck in the ground. You would have kicked him out of the tournament for that?

I think Poulter needs to look up the meaning of 'buried'.

Poulter is a plonker sometimes - except Ryder cups - he is cool then. :)

I wouldn't do that myself to a green,

I don't even drop a flag on a green. Place.

Massive deceleration on the way into a pitch shot and scuffed it about 4 yards

No doubt some more nice free relief for Dustin. Nice lack of fore call too.

It still amazes me how both amateurs and professionals refuse to take unplayables when they really should do. It's very silly.

Good birdie for Rory on the last. 7 behind going into tomorrow.

Think anybody on +1 or better still has chance. Think its bit far fetched for anyone else.

I haven't a clue what Jimenez is saying in his post round interviews but I'd say he's some laugh after a bottle of wine

Contrast Rory with Tiger who fought tooth and nail again over the first two days and now near the top. Things get rough for Rory and he loses the head. That bunker shot on 10 was throwing his hat at it

Tiger had a worse round on Thursday than Rory did today.....if it wasn't for the leaders not extending yesterday, Tiger probably would have quit again.

The difference was that Rorys bad round yesterday came when conditions were perfect, and he messed up on two par 5's with two double bogeys. He did well to birdie the last but he is too far back now, too many good players ahead of him.

Last group out at 2.45pm local time.... surely that is cutting it a bit close in case of a playoff?

Ah right! Still might be tight enough... darkness should fall just after 7pm?

Some achievment to get this course and facilities done in the time they did. Money gets jobs done.

Top photo was 23 days ago... bottom photo was yesterday.

They've mentioned it quite a few times alright.

They should do a few fly overs of the holes showing the new and old lay outs or something like that to give us an idea of the changes.

They have showed it a few times showing the outline of the old fairway and greens. It is annoying how much they go on about it though, we get the point.

    So that's Jimenez's strategy.
Traumatize as many other lads on the practice ground with his stretching exercises.
    :D

Have they changed one of the holes from last year?
