Connecting Laptop to TV

Hey all,

Hope I'm posting in the right section. I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out what cable do I need to connect my laptop to the TV. I've included some pictures of the ports on the back of Laptop and TV.

Ok great. I'm not great with this stuff... So when I go to maplin I just ask for an S video cable?

My. Advice. Get VGA to. SVideo.
Or VGA to. Scart. A lot. Cheaper online. ,eg amazon UK. Etc

Using power strip was the only way. I could get. Resolution down to. ,
720 x. 576.
Doesn't work on windows 7. Or 8. Os
Google free program power strip ,

This gives DVD. Resolution. On an sdtv.
You could buy an 21 inch monitor. On. Adverts is. ,
VGA. HDMI. ,

Windows sets resolution. To 800x 600. ,if you use graphics card,advanced. Settings, minimum setting,

make a custom resolution,
720x576

after you install powerstrip.

YOU may want to set fonts ,and icons to large in display settings,advanced.

i connected up 3 tvs,
this is a sdtv,
not hdtv,

windows will not drop res to 720x576 ,
automatically,

unless you use a specific program.
and set refresh rate to 50 or 60 mhz in display propertys ,advanced,

default rate on most laptops is, 70 or 75 mhz.

download install powerstrip,

load it,
use custom settings,
to change resolution to,
720x576,
refresh rate to 50mhz.

on tv label on the case,
rear of tv
also monitors,
label will state 50 0r 60mhz.

i,d go for 50 mhz, to be safe.
