The banking cartel is the safer bet as they get paid for screwing the population.

The government just get more votes for cleverly spluttering nonsensical's.

And the criminal underworld gets killed as soon as it makes enough to retire.

He served his time and debt to society. The slate is wiped clean and he is entitled to try to get his life back on track with the same protection of his rights as any other law abiding citizen.

He might have served his time for the crimes he was convicted. What about all the others such as the murder of Veronica Guerin?

He served a lot longer than most drug smugglers do here. Longer even than convicted murderers I think!
