Dvd ram corrupt /not recognized ?

    Hi folks ,trying to import and copy dvd on my Toshiba Satillite C-660 but keep getting dvd corrupt or not connected message .Any ideas thanks .

    If other DVDs play OK then try cleaning the media. If others don't play try cleaning the DVD drive.

    Is the drive recognised in my computer? Start, my computer and see if it shows up, if not power down and take out the drive blow out any dust, then put back and boot up to see if its been recognised by the laptop. is the dvd scratch? try this.
