yeah but do you pronounce you name oddly? say Ciara and call yourself Keyara or something or the classic example of Hyacinth Bucket being pronounced 'bookay'....

Nope. I know what you mean, but trust me on this one ;)
It's a very simple name as well.

Passive aggressive spouses. It seems I've done something, no idea what, but somethings off. I hate the way these things go. How do you fix 'it' when you don't know what IT is:confused:

In my house it goes something like this.

OH does something to piss me off, and asks "what's wrong?"

Me: "Well, hang on and I will tell you, yada yada yada and there is FA petrol in the car again!"

I do something to piss off OH, and I ask "whats wrong with you?"

OH: "Who me? Oooh there is nothing wrong with me, I am just fine, what makes you think there is anything wrong with me?"

Followed by two days of silence:D

The cold shoulder is way worse then having a quick heated shouting match!

I do something that really pisses off any former flames i've had. I refuse to get into arguments even when it's my fault and i know i've done wrong, i generally just try to make the other person laugh or sit there with a big stupid look on my face while they kick off and more times then not it pisses them off even more but sometimes it works and they laugh too and the fight is over simply because it is hard to stay angry at a massive tit like myself ha :D

Tis not a Euphemism, tis more a tailors way of asking which pant leg your member prefers to dwell.

Disappointing cake. You know when you buy a cake thinking how yummy it looks, then you take a bite and it's all meh, just tastes synthetic and all the joy has gone out of it.

When you treat yourself to something nice to eat like a bar of chocolate or something after being 'good' all week , walk into living room and someone's eyes pop out of their head with the disapproving look, little gentle shake of the head and a small sigh, no words or anything and you go ..... "What ?????" And wolf it all down for yourself and then go off and get another one .

I would consider myself "sturdy", but the OH is slim. I always think it's funny the way other (larger) woman will say to her "Now I wouldn't mind losing a bit of weight, but I wouldn't like to skinny (she is a 10) like you" ....I usually throw my tuppence worth in at that point.
"So, its ok to call someone skinny, but mention the F word to larger person, and you are the pits"

The fudge? I don't think I have ever seen anyone paint their nails on the bus, ever.

People correcting ME when I pronounce MY name!
It usually happens after they ask me to spell it.
Some of them even have the cheek to say "Are you sure?".

I'd be similar. I've even had people full on argue that I'm saying it wrong. Eh.. It's my name, I think I'd know... Or where people address me the first time and I say "(my name) yes hi" or whatever and they repeat my name back to me incorrectly and comment on how unusual it is

Or when I have to spell it out for someone and I spell it letter by letter and they still take it down wrong. Ffs, how dim are people that they can't take something down correctly. Then I go "no no, there's no L there" or whatever other correction needs to be made and they look at me like I've ten heads then look dumbly at what they've written, change nothing and look blankly at me. A junior infant would take it down more accurately than a lot of the people I've had to deal with. Argh.

No kidding! I've seen it once before.
I don't understand how they do it, it's a bumpy ride. I like having my nails painted but already feel bad enough when I have to do it in the house. She stank up the whole bus!

Yeah, "nailfies", along with the before and after hairdresser selfies, trying clothes on selfies, bought this and that selfies, before make up, after make up.... :pac:

People who fart an the bottom of an escalator crop dusting everyone behind them. The initial hot blast of gas makes me want to self harm.
