Started Metro last night and instantly love it.

Wouldn't say the AI is fantastic in it but the setting and atmosphere is so good and it's just been a lot of fun so far. Only about an hour or two in.

Now, what is going on with plus? I assume all the content is now being released on the same day.

They are leaving it really late since it should be out Wednesday.

I'm reading Metro 2033 first to increase the immersion. Translation isn't great but it's very good once the story gets going.

I haven't played much on the PS3 recently but did fire up Metro last weekend. It looks cool and enjoyed the hour or two I played. Kept thinking I'd love to have all these guns for Outlast.

Apparently the first game and the book are similar but not the same.
I'd say you could watch a youtube playthrough of the first game or read a plot synopsis of the game/book on wiki.

The book/ebook is only 5 to 10 euro on amazon.

That Brothers game is great, if the demo is anything to go by. Pixeljunk Monsters is one of my favourite local co-op games, and I already picked it up on Vita, but still, that's cool.

Looking forward to some DN Co-op.

Yeah, took far too long to be announced this month. Just looking at the blog post, is Bioshock Infinite not leaving on the 5th? Wonder is that just a typo…

I've mixed feelings on Brothers being free.

It's great that more people will get to play it but it was already so cheap not so long ago (when I bought it). That said I assume the developers are getting a decent deal if they accepted to be on Plus

The game is great too..

Really looking forward to playing Tomb Raider considering the reviews.. cannot understand why it's on Plus with the definitive edition not even a month old. Was tempted to get that too.

Finished Dead Nation before but I think I'd be interested in some co op too.. never played the DLC and I'm really liking this idea of livestream interactions.

the PS4 version comes with all present DLC also and at 1080p 60fps, you won't get that on PS3.

If you don't have it on any device then it's a steal to get it for free on PS3.

Was the exact same, absolutely chuffed its come free to PS3

Moving house this weekend where I fully intend to take the PS3 back in from the misses using it as her DVD/bluray player.

So many PSN games I want to get through, now including Tomb Raider, along with stuff I've never taken out of the wrapper including Batman and The Last of Us.

I just need world of warcraft to **** off for a bit, so I can play my consoles

Yeah, I find it quite noticeable. Syntax is ropey at best.
It doesn't damage the atmosphere or the quality but it's there.

There's a fair few typos too but that's down to the editing.

THE BAD
Yes, translation. There's only one official one in existence, but the translation per se is really, really bad. There are more typos than the average fan fiction; there's double periods and other out of place punctuation marks, and a good deal of the sentences are extremely awkward. This shocked me, as it was published and edited by professionals. How the hell did they, the people working on it, miss so many? I couldn't believe that there were so many typos in this professionally published novel. The most I've ever seen is one per novel. But anyway, moving on.
