Closer to top than 4th, white coats would have been needed if I thought that at the start of the season.

We need 20/33 points to finish on 76 which is effectively 77 for us, we can fall below our target of 2 ppg, which given the next 3 away games is good.

    Spurs need 27/33!

    United need 11 wins!

Lads I don't get this constant 7 points talk, we are not effectively 7 points ahead. If we lose three and the have two wins and a draw they go ahead. We are 6 points clear with a superior goal difference.

I suppose the point is they need that draw or 1 point more, we don't.

Another 20 from the next 24 would make things very interesting indeed!!

Jesus when you put it like that that is mightily impressive!

I would say the run of fixtures was slightly easy, but still impressive stuff and type of stat that would make you dream about stuff we should not yet be dreaming of!

and do you think shipping three goals a game with Gerrard as sole DM is acceptable? Liverpool are getting away with it right now - the luck will run out with Suarez clearly getting tired and a bit grumpy.

The league table doesn't lie ! We are in 4th and 4 points off Chelsea because LFC have earned 4th this season .

It's more like 6 and a half points really.

after several unwelcome heart attacks earlier, what a fúcking beautiful, perfect day this turned out to be.

Get Rodgers to sign on that dotted line.

I'm telling ya he is turning some big heads of the game, and his style, composure, philosophy and calibre in someone so young is something that comes around every once in a while.

managers like Rodgers are like chickens teeth.

I for one will be very happy when I hear he has signed a new long term contract.

Great day today. Concerned about the defence though to say the last, Agger/Skrtel is a disaster. The sooner Sakho is back fit again, the better!

Things went our way today , 3 points was massive , can we just do one thing ?
Please sent Victor Moses home . His effort today was abysmal !!

I can understand why people are so anxious to see Sakho back, but hasn't he looked just as dodgy as Skrtel/Agger/Toure so far this season?

They're all decent players on paper, maybe it's coaching problem.

I thought it was because everyone else is poor when they play Liverpool.

Oh come off of it. Moses was at least seen on the pitch for the time he was on it. We couldn't keep the ball for longer than 5 seconds and the nerves really got to us. Take off the tinted glasses, in reality Coutinho was annonomous for the entire second half! Not knocking him but the game passed him by - yet we conveniently forget it cos we won. Allen did really well when he came on which was great to see.

... not saying i'd keep Moses myself but just wouldn't pick him out of a bad lot today.

Moses could not give a ****.......anytime i've seen him play.
To think, Nuri Sahins loan was cut short while Moses is still knocking around hurts my head. Useless.

Indeed ... we've not had a settled back 4 though and with Glen living on past glories we are not firing on all cylinders at all. Amazing we are where we are, just shows how amazing we are in attack!

I tend to look at it as 76.5 points rather than 77.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.
