Making a Will - Naas area

I need to make a will (just in case), otherwise the dog will be homeless.
Anyone recommend a solicitor around Naas or nearby? Also, anyone know how much it costs?

If it's a straightforward will you don't even need a solicitor - you can do it yourself and have it witnessed.

If there are complications such as a prior divorce or complicated investment portfolio then get a solicitor. But if it's just to leave the dog and overdraft to your wife/girlfriend/sister then do it yourself and save the money.

Average price from a solicitor is €200.
DIY is ok but if you make any small mistake it can be deemed invalid and you won't be there to fix it. Less chance of a solicitor making a mistake.

"Best Will in the World" week held every Oct (ish) does a reduced rate of €50 for every will made. http://www.bestwill.ie
