    Hi

Does anybody know why the 5ghz wireless isnt letting me connect to it? It has the same ssid/password as the 2.4ghz one and my phone has the option to connect to each one individually but when I try it just drops connection and says "not connected" under the list of networks on the phone.

    Any ideas?

If something else is connected at 2.4Ghz then it will stick at that unless the EPC3925 can support dual concurrent channel (not sure if it does?) - it's usually one or the other.

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread but I thought I would post a solution here as it is one of the first google links when you search for htc one 5ghz wifi. Anyway I found that the htc one will only work on a few 5ghz channels (usually the first 3) I think from memory they are 32 36 and 40. Make sure that your router is set to broadcast on any of these channels and you should be fine.

    Hope this helps

    Mick
