Hartburg playnig a friendly in a few minutes against these guys

    URL removed

The records go from 2011 back but i think the +4.5 goal line can be taken with decent confidence @ 4/5

    it's on Astro too

Edit .. just realising that the link above is for the ladies team. Sorry guys soccerway doesn't say that it's ladies but clicking into some of the opponents links gives womens tournaments results. no mens team link available.

These guys Hartburg are playing are from a very low league though am still on the overs.

Finished 7-0 to Hartberg :pac: . Hopefully some of you got on.

Another speed skating day in Sochi.

Much more difficult to call this time, the 1000 meter for men.
Same margin of error as in the 500 meter here, none.

Difference between the 500 and 1000 at the olympics is the 1000 meter is only 1 race.

The Dutch will not be as dominant on today as they were on the 500 mostly because they have been very good to do 2 very good races on the 500 and came on top because of the total time.
To win this, you need 1 exceptional race.

Now of course the Dutch will have the motivation of already winning medals but only Michel Mulder will have that advantage of actually winning one already.
The other Dutch skaters didnt take part in the 500.

Every chance Mulder will again finish in the medals but not as clear cut as it was for me on the 500.

Odds point to Shani Davis being the big favourite which makes sense seeing he is a specialist on the 1000 and 1500 (write that one down) and won the 1000 meter at the last 2 Olympics.
He can be backed around evens.

Another one for the medals is Denis Kuzin of Kazachstan who won 1x the 1000 meter at the last world championships and finished the 2nd one in 2nd place.

This for me is the hardest distance to call in the olympics. Arguably the best Dutch 1000 m skater didnt even qualify as he finished in 6th place during the qualifiers in Holland and he would have been in the medals almost for sure here.
Those qualifiers were won by Stefan Groothuis who could proof to be a surprise medal winner here as well.

    So:

    Gold: Davis
Medals: Davis (obviously), Mulder, Kuzin, Groothuis.

Sorry, cant narrow it down more for you.

Have the Dutch always been into speed skating? Just never associated them with winter sports either due to the climate or the flatness of the country or whatever. Football and darts

The Dutch have been dominating speed skating for ages now.
    But mostly the all-round tournaments where a tournament is done over 2 days 1x 500m, 1x1500, 1x 5000 and the 10000 meters.

Olympics is more for specialists but since a 10 or 15 years ago a separate WC for distances was created, the Dutch got them some specialists as well.

The Dutch were never that good in the sprints, was usually an Asian and Eastern European thing (you can guess how they won) but they seem to be getting very good at that now as well.

Sport is pretty huge in Holland, give us a decent winter and we all go out skating on natural ice.
Pretty annoyed i cant see a minute of it, especially the shorter distances.

The better skaters are full profs with decent salaries and could set themselves up for life with a successful career.
Sven Kramer, if he can reach his goal of 3 golds in this Olympics, will probably have no financial worries for the rest of his life.

    what is the bet?

Anybody with information about why the odds on Leverkusen are drifting?

The game interested me and I am looking for any information.

So far the big news is that Emir Spahic and top scorer Stefan Kießling are both likely to be rested for Leverkusen which makes it no bet so its important to wait for the lineups. Source.

There is speculation that Kaiser's top scorer Zoller won't start which would make Leverkusen a bet again. He is very good and there are reports Fulham are trying to buy him for e5m.

Anybody have a reliable source for the squads?

Thanks but there is no squad information on those accounts and no information to explain the drift on Leverkusen.

It might simply be down to speculation that Kießling will be rested and the market is overreacting.

Over 1.5 First Half Goals in the Liverpool/Fulham Game @ 6/5 looks very good to me.

I might double with the same bet in City/Sunderland @11/10.

    Double pays 3.62/1.

Sunderland are very likely to play extremely defensively and Aguero, Nasri and Ferindhino is out for City and City look a bit lost when then get near the opponents box in the last few matches without Aguero and generally speaking this season Man City have been a 2nd half team.
