But a game about a bird flying between pipes does?

Yes because it's extremely difficult, as I have already said.

I too was hoping a Flappy Bird was some form of busty whore. Disappointed.

The game itself is clearly a ripoff of another; check the second game in this link for comparison (Flappy Birds is the first) http://gandhirules.com/site/blog/gamedev/flappy-bird-isnt-a-copy-precisions/

No,although there's no malicious code in the game.Apparently he was making 50k a day off it :) And there's rumours it was a botnet that was behind the downloading of the game on the google play store.

Are you suggesting there was some elaborate scam going on here?
Was the unwanted attention of the legal variety? Don't bots watch ads?

I have a real gaming console. I don't play it because it's ****e and doesn't get the juices flowing.

Jeeesus! Flappy Birds is about as exciting as Sudoku.

Try playing in a four man Battlefield squad with proper communication and proper tactical play on PSN/XBL..absolutely epic experience!

    WTF

Do people realize that you can still download the game of the internet for free for either Iphone or Android.

I'll be buying 50 Android phones tomorrow if the above is what people are bidding for them!

I downloaded the game. I hit the first pipe thing with my pixelated bird. 'This is balls' says I. Game uninstalled.

Because you're sh*t at it, which a lot of people are, but you have to trust me when I tell you that if you stick around long enough to be good at it, you'll find it far harder to uninstall.

Did the bird fly backwards in your version?

Better than being excellent at a game that most other people are sh*t at?

For the record, yes I also enjoy Sudoku :D

I just downloaded it off another app market, game itself looks very basic but it does look quite difficult.

People that want to spend that money on a phone just for a game are idiots.

Dark Souls isn't even that hard...just a difficulty curve.

In 50 years time, maybe they'll have a phone with Flappy Birds starting at $50,000...

No, more like Say My Name - Destiny's Child.

The game is quite addictive actually, top score 8.

Anyway this must all be a joke, or chancers thinking there is a market for unavailable games. .

I'm putting my phone on done deal as we speak. Galaxy S4 with flappy bird should fetch around 3000 euros...fair price like. Just going off an iPhone 4 with flappy birds for 1000.

I don't get why people are doing this with Android phones, can't they just copy the .APK for the game?

The flappy birds thing is entirely a joke Internet meme. Some guy with millions of followers posted himself playing it, ironically ( it's crap). Millions download it. People are making ironic comments about how it leads them to satan in the App Store reviews, and now after it's been removed from the App Store there are ironic eBay sales and bids for it on phones with it installed. Even though millions of phones have it and the apk is available.

AH not as Internet savvy as it thinks.
