The only state that is allowed to fly the state flag at the same height as the stars and stripes

    Wow! What a victory

I think the parts of Arizona and Nevada that aren't urban are starkly beautiful. But Phoenix and Las Vegas are environmental abominations - Phoenix in particular.

Environmental abominations in what sense? Just the fact they exist in such harsh terrain?

I live in Phoenix, I love it too. It's like a lot of the German cities that were bombed in World War 2, started from scratch with the ability to design it in a way that makes sense.

Also, it's the desert, yet there's no water restrictions like in other states. Ample water supply

But I agree that the rural parts of Arizona are nicer. It's an amazing state. Such variety in landscape and climate

I'm actually gonna go with Iowa. It's taken me this long to even think of anything about it and I'm drawing a blank.

Hilarious. If that was really the case that that old bag would be locked up for life, not a few months.

The only thing I remember about it is that it's always the first state for the presidential primaries.

The fact that this thread has got to 12 pages without anyone mentioning Utah proves beyond a reasonable doubt that it is the most forgettable state!

I usually forget about Arkansas when trying to name all the states. Also Indiana and Kentucky.

Wisconsin is one of the states I remember the most, more so because I used to love That 70s Show and would essentially shout, "HELLO WISCONSIN!" alongside the intro.

Painful program :0 Is there a 'South Dakota'? I'll go with that

Arkansas and Iowa are definitely forgettable. And Michigan. I think of it as a lake and completely forget it is also a State. Utah wins though.

Had to go there on business recently. It's beautiful and very friendly and no recession.
Bliss, honest. Would love to live there.
