    .

Certainly it was during a season where every one had written us off,We were seen as easy connon fodder in the league and tipped for relegation i might ad just as we are this year,Any way the first match we met altletico madrid(A tough opponent as we have never defeated them in the league) but a 5-3 score line and hattrick from rossi but them to bed,

After that we were still given no hope as we face faced a star studded spurs team, where we raised a few eyebrows and proved many wrong with a dazzling 4-1 victory,

Now it gets interesting as we were drawn against top of the table real madrid,ah it was a truly mammoth task even i doubted a victory in this fixture,But a man of the match display from goal keeper willy cabellero earned a 0-0 draw followed by a historic 5-4 penalty win,

We were in the final but my team had condition issues for such a small squad we were tested to our limit but we only needed one more victory to seal our place in history,a just as gutsy and surprising package awaited in the final...palmieres,

It was tough task and a hard fought contest as palmieres and their new young manager threw everything at us including the kitchen sink, they truly gave as good as they got,But as both teams tired it was clear that this game was heading for yet another dredded penalty shoot out,but the cats kept their nerve defeating that impressive side 5-3....History was made...I won it for the little guys, your welcome!! :D

Just reading the Sunderland Echo tonight, they were considering putting a statue of the Irish Bear as they called you beside the statue of the late great Bob Stokoe who brought Sunderland their historic 1973 FA Cup win.

However your comments regarding your wish to take up a position at their fiercest rivals at a time when there wasn't even a position available has seen them start to make weapons out of the bronze instead.

Not that it probably matters this time, but how come Tupac is coming up as rank 30 for me?

Haha I am going to miss that club and some of the youths. Aguero and Silva will comfort me though :)

Will I get accepted tonight or will it take awhile?

I'd say it's because he was 28 before his draw with Udinese on Sunday, after which 2 managers passed him out.

I'm glad you mentioned that because now I'm off to check the others that had applied before today just to make sure!! :D:D

EDIT : Actually I don't need to check because the next manager whose rating might be different is eireannBEAR and he's miles behind! :P :P

Needs to be a final check on deadline day to decide on the successful manager to be safe,

For example, tonight it might have mattered if Ger had not applied. I assume you would have checked, but it needs to be stated it is manager ranking as of close of applications time to set it in stone.

That is if it is not already set in stone somewhere.

Just applied there! Hope someone does a decent job with Palermo. They are broke but they have some great players and few future stars and risers :)
