Looks dodgy as all hell for a start. Plus €27 "flat rate" delivery charge !
    Avoid!

Site looks dodgy from first glance, probably best to avoid.

The address on their website is a normal house which currently has 1 occupant who was recently looking for housemates on Adverts.ie :S

    http://www.adverts.ie/property-sharing/26-emer-terrace-castletown-road-dundalk-co-louth/4548968

His Facebook Page shows comments from friends wishing him luck with new venture, not sure how he sources the products to sell for so cheap tho, very dodgy :S

  • Registered Users Posts: 477 ✭✭davidom2513

The first time I read the ad for the house, i thought he was implying the double bed would be shared with him!!

Payment is through paypal, and he has his name and address and photograph on display. Not very smart if it were a scam.

    Maybe a misprice :confused::confused:

    Fake Chinese copies no doubt.

Either he got some of his ideas or products from some reading forum threads, or he's an absolute plank, who believes he outsourced legitimate products from China and paid no Duty.

Samsung Branded Products on one page, and Teamgee on the other?

Asus (Asia) (ahem) - Products, near normal prices.

    Apple.. ?
    Goophone i5c with ios7 rom.

    and the Tablet etc..

    Sony TV.

Not for me to point out everything.

I didn't go through it all, but the branded Chinese products may be worth getting if he isn't dropshipping.
I wouldn't order from an Irish Website that has blatantly fake items on it, and is charging crazy money.

Especially not if they take 2/3 weeks to arrive from Louth.

A 50" sony TV with a 32" screen? Nah, not dodgy at all. :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 712 ✭✭✭Devia

Wonder does he allow collections and take cash? Then you could scope out the product. IMO if he doesn't accept that then I wouldn't bother.

If it's legitimate it's probably drop shopping from a Chinese supplier considering the ridiculous postage charges

Being the wait and see type, I will wait for other customer opinions about this colourful company in Customer Rant and Praise, or Consumer issues forum in general. Got burned before buying a radio control so called "car" (all the "wheels" were ornamental) from an Asian site. Once bitten twice shy.

Saw that too. Betting on them being 2nd hand/something wrong to be honest. No way you can make a profit at that price.

Hard to know if the site owner is scamming or being scammed here.

It can't be legitimate at those prices, no matter where he's getting the stock.

Continuing with the sleuthing theme, it is hosted on the same server as usbsticks.com, which according to the homepage is "The cheapest USB sticks in Ireland", despite all the prices being quoted in a mixture of dollars and euro. Both sites are hosted in the Netherlands, and the domain is registered to a man with a dutch name, but the address of said man is Dundalk Co. Louth and the same street address/house from the adverts ad.
