Factory jobs

Hi all, Im looking to get some general factory work here in Galway. I have never worked in a factory before and was just wondering how to go about finding vacancies etc? Any help would be appreciated.

recruitment agencies are your best bet. I know of 2 big factories taking people on people on short term contracts at the moment however your lack of experience might be a problem.

As gordongekko said, recruitment agencies are the most commonly used for factory jobs. Bear in mind, these contracts are mostly temporary, usually no longer than 11 months. Some only last 3 months. I'm assuming your looking for general operator work?

Thanks for the help everyone.
I finished my property degree last year and have been working in a B&B since but I'm not getting enough hours. I'm not eligible for the jobbridge scheme which seems to be the only way people are hiring at the minute, so I'm looking at factory work because I need cash at the min.
Does anyone know what the wages and hours are like? And would the contracts be renewable?
