Interesting guestion for this forum. I assume this is a little summer holiday money making plan. It will depend on the competition between contractors on your bog. Most would have only a couple so your best bet to get an actual price is to find out who they are and ring them. As a guide, a 60m long row would cost between €25 and €35. Footed you could get €70 to €90 on the bank and double that if you sell bagged next winter.

This is a classic ,its usually exploration long shots and a bank that gets most of the attention on here, but now were going to discuss the price of turf by the yard:D:D:D:D:D.Please make this a sticky Mods.

It may be unusual on here and not appear on a traders screen but its a valid investment. How much different is it from oil anyway. Both are black, dirty and produce energy. The fact that this young lad can invest a few euro and has a dam right better chance of doubling his money over a couple of months than most of the lads "investing" in exploration stocks gives him the right to a fair answer (as much as some of the other posters on here) He might have the last laugh yet ; -)

Moderator: the OP has had another thread on the same topic moved to the Farming and Forestry forum so I am closing this one.
