Tiny houses or apartments?Do they complain about them or just talk about what it's like to live in a tiny home?

Tiny house like purpose built sheds and also really small apartments adapted for living. Some really interesting ideas out there. Truth be told though I don't think I could do it myself though as some are really tiny.

Hmm..don't think I could do it myself to be quite honest. Love my space and the fact I have tonnes of stuff!

Myself and OH are talking about building a house sometime in the next few years but he's thinking of building a "flat pack" home.

Would you like to live in town or out in the country?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,614 ✭✭✭Mozzeltoff

Countryside. Definitely. I don't mind towns but I just like the serenity of the countryside. Plus I know too many people that would use and abuse the fact that I lived in town.

Last time I lived in town I would be getting phonecalls at stupid o clock at night from friends out on the piss, asking me was it all right if they could crash at mine. I never let anyone stay but I don't know why they kept ringing me if I never let them stay in the first place

So does this mean that your Boardsie pals aren't allowed to crash there either?! :D

I would love to live deep out in the countryside however the lack of good broadband and pizza deliveries would be a huge negative.

My boardsie friends can stay all right. If they don't mind two dogs and a cat and aslong as ye didn't throw up on the carpet in the living room :pac: Oh and no one harms my "collection" then we're all good :D

I live 15 minutes from the nearest town. I live out by the ocean. I have satellite broadband and as much as it can be a pain in the hole it's a lot better than what it was this time last year  Pizza I am afraid, you either ring, order and collect or you make yourself. Tis a tough life but it can be done :pac:

Old consoles. I have quite a few of them (and they all work) that I have picked up over the years but they are like my children

I am still collecting a few. Looking for a N64 and a game cube at the minute :o

That's cool actually MT! No need for the embarrassed emoticon there :)

I sold my PS2 with like 16 games on Adverts for like €20 a few years back. Really regret doing that to be honest.

I miss my PS2 and PSX. My mother gave them away when I was in college one week, she said "Nobody said they wanted to keep them", when I'd never been asked.

I sold a PS1 and a few games years back to my best friend and a few weeks later it was broken by her little brother. I regretted selling it but I think I wanted the money for a concert.

For my 22nd birthday the same friend actually went out and bought me a PS1 with Crash Bandicoot and Tomb Raider. Best gift ever. Well one of them.

First casualty of the whole 'necknomination' fad :(
Guess it is a careless fad but only started out with lighthearted intentions as a bit of otherwise known harmless fun. Other countries seem to be doing the dog on it adding in activities with knocking back a drink like which is not on. Re: death of young lad, my understanding was that there was other elements involved so not primarily as a result or the cause of the Neknom but won't go into speculating. R.I.P. to him and his family. Very sad tragic loss of such young life. :/
