    I don't think it needed it. With the bigger bumper, bonnet hump and wide arches. It still looks mean / fresh

    Yeah. Unfortunatly the same cannot be said about the saloon, mine is a pre facelift and imo the post facelifted model looks way better, I only missed out on it by months as well :(.

    Just a little update on this.

    The original M3 posted had a few small concerns for my friend biggest amonst them being the fact the owner had it over 12 months despite a change of ownership at the start of December IIRC.

    We checked one out in Carroll and Kinsella in Blackrock but it was manual which wasn't what my friend wanted.

    Next up we check out some newer shape 325Ci's and made an offer on one. Sadly a larger offer was made before a deposit was left. However I think that will be the focus of our attention going forward.

    when you say newer shapes, do you mean an E46 facelift or the newer E92 model?

    I assume you mean this one? I think the mileage would be an issue for him although I don't know for sure.

    The big problem with that car is it's manual.

    I never even spotted that and it's bloody obvious. It's out as it has to be an auto.

    I'd love a manual 335i...

    //edit: Oops, just noticed it's a 325i

    There was a manual 335i estate on carzone a while back - I'd say you'd get a manual cheap if that's your thing.

    I think he is going to view that one. We just ran out of time on Saturday last. The leather is different
