    Right, good websites for English,

    Big words: Grandiloquent Dictionary

    Dictionary: Dictionary.com

    Urban Slang Dictionary : UrbanDictionary.com

OK, I know there's more out there guys! Post up the addresses and I'll stick them in the list...

Hi CuLT thanks for the input!

Praetorian and I are currently composing a list of useful/interesting links, which we will add to the forum hopefully in the near future. The “Useful Links” thread will be made a sticky and any new suitable links will be added.

For the moment we will keep this thread and amalgamate it with the new thread when it is added.

It’s great to see that people have such an active interest in the forum!

    Thanks again!

    AmZ

    http://www.ccc.commnet.edu/grammar/

pretty good site for grammar, worth reading, especially if you can't see anything wrong with sentences like:
"your going to they're house for lunch"

same site but of particular significance to people communicating through a primarily text based medium like a forum or IRC.

    http://www.insultmonger.com

    For all your insulting needs.

i'll post more as I remember them.
